Mini Review
3 books in a boxed set. Best Kult campaign ever made and it's HUGE! A lot of different scenes and NPC's. Set in Germany and Russia 1991 & 1944. The only negative thing is that it assumes that the Soviet Union still exists, so the GM has to jump the players back in time to 1991. Dreamworlds, Inferno, nazi sects, missile sites and orphanages - could it get more fun than this? Really good NPC descriptions. An adventure that it is very easy for players to fall into character... The only shame is that you can't play this campaign ALL the time.

It is too bad that some of the setting is very 1991-specific, but this is no big problem.

Very well organized, and the plot is easy to follow by the Game Master. The escalating Game Mastering difficulty also makes this a good adventure for GM's who want to evolve.

Layout (7/10)
Horror (9/10)
Adventure (10/10)
GM Ease (7/10)
SCORE (10/10) (ok... more like 9.5 :D)

Hi Torb

I have the Swedish edition boxset. Do you still want photographs, video unboxing, etc?

I'm in the process of building my new campaign returning to Kult, so have all my books out again. (Den Svarta Madonnan is my storeroom for Kult notes)

I also have the Metropolis magazine that I couldn't see here on the site. It's laminated, but might be able to get around that.

Best,
Jason

Re:

Think what we need is probably a back cover scan. My box is all dented and f'ed up, so I can't use it. I think we have the metropolis magazine here somewhere - I'm not sure if we're talking about the same one though; the one we have a scan of is a rather simple affair, some promotional item. (Click here to see info on the Kult flyer + pictures)
It would be really cool to get some shots of Illusion #1 magazine, if that's the release you are talking about.

Woah, Jason's active. Hello there.
Anyway, on the topic: I will be hunting badly for this one.

EDIT: Wait, there were actually magazines about Kult before Steel Heart? I must educate myself.

Re:

Hey Torb

Yes, it's the Illusion #1 16 page magazine/poster. I laminated it some 10, maybe more, years ago so Peter Andrew Jones' seraphim could be on my wall, it's been rolled up ever since (too old for posters nowadays). I'll dig it out and scan some shots or use my dSLR if glare proves troublesome. Give me a week or two. I guess it would be illegal to scan and offer the whole thing online... shame, it has some great additions.

LiAiL, hello, active..? I'm not so sure. Maybe offline ;)

Actually in my Black Madonna box along with notes I had 4 Kult magazines (photocopied publication) called The Awakening, published by Darrell Hardy published in 1996 - a name possibly familiar to older Kultists.

Torb; have scanned back cover and sent you a copy via email.
