Magic Part One: Magicians as Characters.

Let's start the Magic section: pages 145 to 148.

The opening bit of fiction is nice. It reminds me of one of the funny parts of Call of Cthulhu. When you have a player who is new to the game, and
their character learns a Summon Monster spell, but not the corresponding Bind Monster spell, and he doesn't realize that there's a difference. So he
casts the Summon Monster spell, the monster shows up, and his character goes insane and/or is eaten by the monster. However, this bit of fiction
raises the question: did this guy not learn the binding spell, or did he

Click here to view this thread started by johnstone

Västtyska Mark var visst lite lägre när Tyskland förenades igen. Fast de skriver endå alla pengavärden i D-mark i Madonnan, efter muren. Undrar när

My Way for playing KULT

Hi everybody.

Fisrt of all my name is Michael and i am mad too... I've seen The Truth and my mind is branded, my soul is burned and my eyes are blinded for lie.

Seriously Michaech aka de99ial (its pronounced "deggial"). Im from Poland so... im sorry for my english. Its not perfect.

What i wanted is to tell You how i like play in KULT. Usually im the GM so it is my burden.

I really like screwing with Players, so ive managed specific type of playing.

Two ways.

1. We tell them we play in KULT. Do the introduction to game, some parts for cosmology and other. Then we play normal, absolute normal criminal
stories. No KULT cosmology, no Truth and no magick. Just logic. And watch like p

Click here to view this thread started by de99ial

After a small detour to make sure she isn't followed she goes back to her new appartment where she'll take the chance to take a little nap and then,
if Marty replied, get ready for her date (and consequent appointment with Vic).

As you exit the subway, you somehow feel followed and watched. It is a feeling which deeply unsettles you, but you notice nobody watching you, or
following you, even after you turn some extra corners near your new home. There is nobody, the feeling stays.
Additionally, a SMS of Marty arrived:
Great, looking foward to!
some time ago I was watching my wife playing a game called 'Bayonetta' on PS3 (nicely done, but otherwise pretty silly japanese game btw)... And

In some chapters of 'Bayonetta', the protagonist finds herself on a 'spiritual plane' (well, something of that sort anyway) which kind of overlaps
with the real world, in which all normal people dwell. As a result, she can see them (and even interact, to some extent) - but they can't see her, or
they can only see a faint shadow of a woman. That leads to all kinds of funny, or dangerous situations (some monsters are only visible on the
